So, Alex is gone until Monday and I'm spending time with my family. Oh happy day is this. Luckily I should only have to spend the night tonight, which y'know, considering my aunt is going to be giving us cookware, that's not going to be too dreadful.

In other news, I got fourteen invites to Google Wave, if anyone would like to grab one...

And now I am going to go try and get some sleep.

So, here's a random question for you all.

Is there a comm or some such thing that keeps track of all the fic fests/big bangs/that sort of thing that go on? I know they pop up every so often (the fests, not the comm) and I was just wondering if there was something that did announcements even if it was just the starting/ending of submissions posts for them.

If not, how do you wind up finding out about various fic-writing things such as that?

Alive am I, though my brain's too many different kinds of fuzz and I'm sick.

Cold sick is not something that is welcome. Bah at the cold. Bah.

Things have happened. Food has been consumed, people have seen me breathing. Exciting exciting.

One day I'll do this properly. Not today.

Si, I'm sitting here at 6:30 in the morning drinking coffee. I haven't really slept yet, I'm watching the sun rise and my girlfriend is on our couch reading about sex.

We were standing outside earlier and just talking. Talking about this time last year and the season, when the sun was going to be rising for the rest of the year and our plans for the week.

We talked about all the things that are ours.

We talked about the things we need to do together before we die.

We talked about dead plants

I'm not sure when or how it happened but I think I'm getting sharing a life.

We may have just roasted things over a tin can Yeah, we're kinda special.

However, I would like to point out you can cook hot dogs, veggies and fish over it pretty effectively. Also, slightly roasted Oreos are not a bad thing.

And the Russian accent was distributed all throughout the experience. It was pleasing.

My girlfriend is amazing.

Actually she is fantabulous and brilliant and on crack but y'know.

There was more, there was things about Russians and love and the Hostess Twinkie snack cake but my brain short circuited.

No real update save for the fact that I've failed to be alive. I will get on that later on.

However, I am updating to say that Alex is speaking in nothing but quotes/lyrics/random shit like that and I am far too amused. Also, if you happen to have suggestions of random interesting things that should be said, clearly you should let us know.

One day I'll either get an interesting life or one that's more productive.

There are bodies outside our apartment but don't worry, we hae enough yoghurt, popcorn and coffee to last.

So, although I am going to wind up killing things before the end of my English class, I am glad to say I can end today with a smile.

My class may suck but at least I can say I have never unintentilally shut a kitten into a refrigerator.

So, two days ago we aquired cats.

Yes, that's right, I said cats.

Maxwell and Rigby are now roaming around our apartments being teeny and adorable and well, kittens.

So, today has been a big frustration but one thing has made things better.

We needed a hammer, so we went around to our neighbours asking for one. The first few doors didn't answer but then a nice guy opened the door and very gladly gave us his silver hammer.

We do not know his name.

If anyone wants me, I'm going to be blasting the Beatles and taking pictures of Alex attempt to make us a bookcase and instead simply gaining a personal vendetta against the thing.
